Trios Medical Group welcomes hospitalist
Kennewick, Wash. – Lee Thorpe, MD, has joined Trios Medical Group—Hospital Medicine as a hospitalist. He will provide inpatient care primarily at Trios Southridge Hospital, located at 3810 Plaza Way in Kennewick. 

Prior to joining Trios, Dr. Thorpe worked 15 years as a locum tenens emergency physician at multiple rural, underserved, military, and penal system health facilities in Washington and Alaska. Originally trained in family medicine, Dr. Thorpe recently completed additional residency training in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University as he transitions to a full-time inpatient care focus.

Dr. Thorpe received his Doctor of Medicine degree at University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah. He completed an internship in family practice at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bremerton, Washington before serving as Senior Medical Officer aboard the U.S.S. Sacramento for three years and beginning his first residency training program in family medicine at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, Washington. He is board eligible in internal medicine.
